Job summary

BADGER COLOR USA in Mukwonago, WI is seeking an entry-level QC Technician for the 3rd shift. We offer paid training and a pathway to growth within a family-oriented manufacturing environment.

You will follow production specs, weigh materials, and evaluate color quality using standard testing equipment while maintaining documentation and a safe workspace. Training provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to distinguish color differences.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Follow production specifications and batch instructions to meet customer requirements.
Weigh materials and prepare color samples using molding, milling, and press equipment.
Evaluate color and product quality using visual inspection and testing equipment.
Use spectrophotometer software and other tools to analyze and correct color variations.
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Perform quality tests such as FTIR analysis.
Melt flow testing, ash testing, and moisture analysis.
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Work overtime or weekends as needed to support production requirements.
Assist with other duties as assigned.

We're hiring an entry-level QC Technician for our 3rd shift team and are willing to train motivated candidates from any industry.

Shift Information

Sunday night through Friday morning
11:30 PM - 8:00 AM
Additional $2.50/hour shift premium
Overtime available as needed

What You’ll Do

Follow production specifications and batch instructions to meet customer requirements
Weigh materials and prepare color samples using molding, milling, and press equipment
Evaluate color and product quality using visual inspection and testing equipment
Use spectrophotometer software and other tools to analyze and correct color variations

Additional Responsibilities

Perform quality tests such as:
