Job summary

EFCO Corp. in Des Moines, IA seeks a Quality Inspector to evaluate forms and components for quality, consistency, and production compliance. You will inspect welds, assess form finish, and document outcomes, supporting safe, organized work and continuous improvement.

You will label processed forms, report recurring issues, operate inspection tools, and maintain the work area. A high school diploma and ability to read shop drawings are required; familiarity with metric and imperial measurements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Competent in both metric and imperial measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welds and component fit; identify deficiencies and record findings.
• Assess form condition and finish; check wear, straightness, and surface quality.
• Document quality outcomes; maintain records in work orders and Kronos.
• Label and identify forms with correct EFCO labels; replace as needed.
• Report quality issues; notify foreman of recurring trends; participate in audits.
• Operate inspection tools and equipment; move forms safely.
• Maintain work area and support safety; perform routine maintenance.
