Job summary

EIMCo in Farley, IA seeks a Quality Inspector to perform First-Piece, in-process and final inspections in a manufacturing setting. You will calibrate inspection tools, train staff on equipment use, interpret blueprints, and document results for each part inspected.

Experience with welding is preferred, and candidates should be able to read quality documents and follow strict quality manuals and safety policies. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills background required.
• One to two years of welding experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Formal education or experience may be substituted with training when competency is demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Perform First-Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspections following production demands.
• Calibrate tools and other inspection equipment and document results.
• Train employees on using and caring for quality inspection equipment.
• Assist in interpreting blueprints and customer quality documents.
• Investigate and troubleshoot quality issues and concerns.
• Operate and program CMM equipment.
• Interpret national and customer quality standards and requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily records in ERP system and Shop Travelers.
