Job summary

SMC Ltd. in Somerset, WI is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday-Thursday). The role ensures quality across received, in-process and finished components, in a clean room setting.

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, document results, and support QA/Engineering investigations. Plastics/medical device experience and inspection equipment familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of plastics industry experience.
• Experience with clean room/medical device assembly helpful.
• Familiarity with inspection methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components and products.
• Assist in product inspections to verify conformance to specs.
• Provide quality data to manufacturing team and document results.
• Support investigations of quality issues with QA/Engineering.
