Job summary

SMC Ltd. is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM), Sunday-Thursday, at our Somerset, WI facility. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections of received, in-process, and finished components, ensuring product quality meets customer specifications and SOPs.

Experience with inspection equipment and proficient use of Word/Excel is preferred; ASQC certification is a plus. Join a team focused on compliant, high-quality healthcare manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in plastics/medical device assembly.
• Knowledge of inspection methods and equipment.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components, subassemblies, and products.
• Assist investigations of quality issues with manufacturing teams.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and non-conforming reports.
• Climb and move within a manufacturing environment as needed.
