West Liberty Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the 3rd shift in West Liberty, Iowa. The role focuses on inspecting processes and products to maintain high quality standards and to support production teams.

The position requires at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds. A post-offer drug test and background screening are required.

Competenze

• 1 year of related experience preferred (food manufacturing preferred).
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships available.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform regular quality checks.
• Inspect and monitor processes and products to ensure top quality.
• Conduct pre-op checks for cleanliness and documentation.
• Run metal detector checks before start-up.
• Audit processes using specifications.
• Monitor meat quality and complete AQL paperwork.
• Verify correct dating and packaging labels.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices by team members.
• Monitor product temperatures and weights.
• Assist production with quality issues and hold/retrieve products as needed.
• Collect finished products for shelf life testing.
• Other duties as assigned.
