Martinrea is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a production team on the plant floor. You will direct Assembly Operators, Welders, and Forklift Operators to meet safety, quality and productivity targets in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong leadership, English communication, and a solid understanding of CNC and welding operations. Expect shift work and collaboration across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• College diploma or Grade 12 with at least 2 years of hands-on supervisory experience.
• Good working knowledge of assembly, CNC and welding operations.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Basic knowledge of computer skills and software literacy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and problem solving abilities.
• Familiar with OHSA rules and Regulations.

Aufgaben

• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Lead and supervise Assembly Operators, Welders and Forklift Operators.
• Maintain production records and ensure data integrity.
• Support Quality Systems and Environmental Management Systems requirements.
• Train, mentor and develop subordinates to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure safe work practices and a clean, organized department.
• Coordinate with other departments to avoid production interruptions.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities.
