Job summary

Martinrea is seeking a production supervisor to direct and support assembly operations, ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets are met on the plant floor. You will lead assembly operators, welders and forklift operators, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong English communication skills, and knowledge of assembly, CNC and welding processes, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong leadership and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
• Good working knowledge of assembly, CNC and welding operations.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Assembly Operators, Welders and Forklift Operators for the department.
• Maintain production-related records in an organized manner and protect confidential information.
• Train and mentor subordinates to meet productivity and safety targets.
• Coordinate with other departments to avoid production interruptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen efforts.
