Job summary

Data-Mail, Inc. is seeking a seasoned supervisor for its Newington, CT facility to oversee the lettershop department on the 3rd shift (11:30pm–7:30am).

This in-person role emphasizes production efficiency, safety compliance, and staff leadership in a fast-paced printing environment. You will monitor daily output, train and evaluate employees, manage machine setups, and ensure quality control procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Two-year college plus 3–5 years supervising in a lettershop or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing/print/bindery environment.
• Ability to manage staff and ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production standards with expected quality on a daily basis.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and safety reports are properly recorded.
• Manage staffing needs and communicate with shift manager and other supervisors.
• Train and evaluate new and temporary employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate machine setups and prep for next shift; maintain department readiness.
• Oversee quality control procedures and document issues via QAN when needed.
