Whelen Engineering in Chester, CT is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee the SMT department and ensure safe, efficient output. You will lead project teams, manage daily production activities, monitor quality, and coordinate with maintenance and planning to meet schedules.

Candidates must communicate effectively in English, support EH&S goals, and mentor frontline staff while driving continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Leads a project team or multiple smaller project teams or leads a functional team or unit in area of expertise.
• Prepares, monitors, and may be responsible for budget, staffing, and or business/operational results of a functional team or project.
• Directly manages individual contributors and may manage other supervisors or group leaders.
• Audits work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met.
• Maintains and updates production records and produces reports as necessary.
• Manages operation to maximize production of quality products and minimize cost.
• Trains and evaluates production employees.
