Job summary

USA.Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals LLC in Indianapolis is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor with experience in milling and precision machining. The role involves communicating expectations, coaching employees, and ensuring on-time delivery while managing the flow of materials and inventory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, supervisory experience, knowledge of powdered metals or machining, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent; will consider HS Diploma/GED with experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Two years of Supervisory experience preferred or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Powdered Metals manufacturing or Machining background – Strongly preferred.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

Interface with team members on a daily basis and act as the first line of command in resolving problems and maintaining efficient, orderly workflow.
Ensuring on-time delivery, management of the flow of materials/parts and control of inventory.
Coordinate workloads and department schedules.
Adherence to product and customer specifications.
Supervises assigned employees and conveys Management’s expectations and direction.
Will oversee scheduling, training, directing, and motivating assigned employees and making recommendations to Management on their behalf.
