Job summary

NPR of America, INC is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor at our Bardstown, KY facility. You will oversee the operations process, coach and develop team members, and ensure safety and quality compliance across production and warehouse areas.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in a manufacturing supervisory role, familiarity with lean TPS/TPM, and strong time management. The role reports to the Production Manager and offers a comprehensive benefits package and advancement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related manufacturing supervisory role.
Experience with Lean manufacturing in a Tier I environment (TPS/TPM) is preferred but not required.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to multi-task and stand/walk for long periods.
Knowledge of ISO certification is a plus.
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Manage, coach and support team members in production/warehouse areas to meet optimum production requirements.
Coach, counsel and develop team members.
Maintain time and attendance; lead performance management.
Review department schedules for adequate staffing.
Ensure SWI and P&P are followed with safety and quality focus.
Conduct team meetings and update production reporting metrics.
Maintain effective relationships across departments.
Operate within budget and contribute to overhead reduction.
Lead plant production initiatives and strategy.
Promote employee engagement.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
