Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead the Sheboygan, WI team. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement while developing people and strengthening operations.

You will collaborate with maintenance, quality, and commercial partners to deliver best-in-class corrugated solutions and drive transformational initiatives within a Principle-Based Management culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment.
• Experience coaching and developing a team.
• Experience working in corrugated packaging/converting operations.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

• Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability; identify hazards and implement mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production.
• Ensure best practices are followed for minimization of waste at machine centers.
• Address key issues and interact with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production.
• Plan, assign, and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback; assist in resolving complaints; communicate issues and results daily.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment
• Experience coaching and developing a team
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging/containerboard industry on a corrugator OR in a converting operation
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
