Job summary

Southern Champion Tray LLC is seeking a dedicated packer for the third shift at the Chattanooga, TN facility. The role involves safely packing glued product, loading and organizing cases, and maintaining quality while meeting run speed targets.

Responsibilities include assisting with feeding, ensuring proper blank supply, proper packaging, labeling, and adhering to safety rules; teamwork and cross-training are expected. Requires a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to use software.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility: Safely pack product glued on the machine to achieve target run speed.
• Secondary responsibilities: packing, bagging, case packing, maintaining quality, feeding during machine troubleshooting, ensuring adequate blanks, loading hopper, labeling and counting, communicating with supervisors, wearing PPE, following safety policies, and being flexible to work in other areas or departments.
