Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend English written instructions, including manufacturing work orders and customer specifications.
• General computer skills to update records, enter data, and send emails.
• Able to sit or stand, push/pull or lift 10–50 pounds, and meet attendance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the shop traveler (job order, instructions, and customer specifications).
• Set up and operate machinery per department processes and job requirements.
• Evaluate product quality and ensure procedures are followed.
• Record defects and data and work within the quality management system.
• Escalate issues to production technician, management, or engineering.
• Read, record, and report product data in shop orders and systems.
• Acquire materials, set up the area, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow safety training and PPE requirements and report accidents or safety concerns.
• Cross-train on operations and equipment.
