Qualifications

• Read and comprehend English work orders, customer specs and shop instructions.
• Basic computer skills to update records and enter data.
• Able to sit or stand and push, pull, or lift 10–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the shop traveler (job order, instructions, customer specs).
• Set up and operate various machinery per procedures and job requirements.
• Inspect and evaluate product quality; ensure procedures are followed.
• Record defects, log data, and report issues promptly to supervision or engineering.
• Read, record and report production data in shop orders and computer systems.
• Acquire materials, prepare the production area, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow safety training and PPE requirements; report accidents or near misses.
• Cross-train on operations and equipment within the area.
