Job Title: 3rd Shift Production Technician

Job Summary:

The Harline Automation Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operational capability of Hardline Automation Machines 1 and 2. This role involves overseeing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and communicating needs to cross-functional teams. The technician will ensure both machines remain operational, up-to-date with updates, and scheduled for preventive maintenance. The role requires technical skills, including experience with robotic systems, camera vision systems, and automated assembly methods.

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 11pm – 7am

Compensation: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, with a 10% differential for second shift. Pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Arrive 20 minutes before shift, receive daily activity report from supervisor.
2. Discuss quality and production issues with the previous shift technician.
3. Maintain operational and mechanical knowledge of production machines.
4. Ensure safety protocols are followed, including PPE and proper handling of materials.
5. Coordinate maintenance with Engineering and adapt to production needs.
6. Manage machine changeovers with team leads.
7. Ensure team members can perform their tasks and follow quality checks; provide training as needed.
8. Report performance issues to management.
9. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards (5S).
10. Promote teamwork and lead by example.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED

· At least one year of relevant experience

· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

· Basic computer and mathematical skills

· Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools
