Job summary

MannKind Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for line manufacturing equipment on a 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with a 15% shift differential. The role covers installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance per manuals and specifications.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, performing electrical/mechanical tasks, maintaining logs, and data entry in the system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience.
• Vocational or technical training.
• 1–3 years mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of cGMP procedures preferred.
• Familiar with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Knowledgeable in calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Skilled in maintaining computer database programs.

Job Summary:

Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions. Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs. Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment. Under supervision may redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.

3rd Shift. Monday - Friday, 10pm to 6:30am. 15% Shift Differential

Essential Duties:

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.

• Enters and maintains data in an computerized system
• Assists Maintenance Department with general building maintenance functions.

Qualifications:

• High School/GED with minimum of 3-5 years related experience or the equivalent combination of experience and training
• Vocational or technical training.
• 1-3 years mechanical maintenance experience.
