Job summary

WEIDMANN Electrical Technology, Inc. is seeking a Full-time, onsite supervisor for the Converting department in Urbana, OH. The role operates on the 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM) and reports to the Manufacturing leadership.

You will lead daily production, coach teams, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement to meet output and delivery targets. Required 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of Lean tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in safety- and quality-driven environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regs, and quality systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems using structured methods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations in the Converting department to meet targets safely and efficiently.
• Lead and develop production teams and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Plan work, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing to meet production demands.
• Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures; train as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and logistics to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
