Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 minimum years of experience in production.
• 1-3 minimum years of experience within the automotive industry.
• 2-3 years of supervising and leading a team of direct reports.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule personnel with Production Manager for vacations, temps, and overtime.
• Provide production expectations and quality feedback in daily start-up meetings.
• Monitor daily production to meet customer requirements and plant objectives, following HSE and 5S.
• Train and monitor employee performance; ensure operator certification and training matrices are updated.
• Compile KPI data and end-of-shift reports; distribute to management and staff.
• Ensure training, rotations, and compliance with UAW contract and safety guidelines.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process; participate in quality initiatives.
• Review processes daily to identify CI opportunities and improvements.
