Job summary

ADM in Erlanger, KY is seeking a 3rd shift Quality Control Supervisor to oversee the QC lab operations. You will supervise technicians and specialists, review test results, and ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO standards while maintaining documentation.

You will lead calibration, method development support, CAPA investigations, and cross-department collaboration to align with production needs and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field or equivalent QC lab experience.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced oversight.
• 5–7 years of QC lab experience with leadership exposure.
• Hands-on with HPLC, GC, UV, wet chemistry, or microbiology.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with LIMS, PowerBI, AS400, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC lab activities across chemical, physical, and microbiological testing.
• Ensure timely testing of materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Review and approve lab test results and reports.
• Investigate out-of-spec results and troubleshoot analytical issues.
• Maintain GMP, FDA, ISO compliance and lab records.
• Support audits, calibrations, validation, and equipment maintenance.
• Train, mentor, and supervise QC staff; manage schedules and performance.
• Collaborate with Production and QA to drive CAPA investigations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
