LINAK is seeking a capable Production Team Leader for the Louisville, KY area to guide daily floor operations and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will lead assemblers, assign tasks, and monitor performance in a lean manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes developing employees, maintaining standardized work, and partnering with Quality/Engineering to resolve issues. A strong work ethic and leadership presence are essential for success on the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Previous manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Technical aptitude and ability to understand manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Goal-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production cell activities to achieve productivity and efficiency goals.
• Assign work based on production demand and employee training needs.
• Support employee development and communicate performance or disciplinary concerns to leadership.
• Complete daily production reporting, performance tracking, and documentation.
• Coordinate work order administration and related paperwork.
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Provide leadership coverage for other Team Leaders as needed.
• Promote a safe work environment and lead 6S initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
