Job summary

Imasen Bucyrus Technology in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a hands-on Production Section Coordinator for the 3rd shift. You will lead Team Leaders, coordinate daily production, ensure quality, and drive improvements to meet customer expectations.

You will monitor safety, 5S, and adherence to policies while reporting outcomes to management and supporting training and development across the section.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years manufacturing leadership experience, or 5–7 years in lieu of a degree.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/manufacturing software systems.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Department: Production; Reports To: Production Section Manager; Supervises: 5–15 Team Leaders and Production Associates.
• Travel: Minimal to none (occasional).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Team Leaders and production associates.
• Coordinate daily manpower, staffing, and overtime coverage.
• Monitor production performance, quality audits, and productivity metrics.
• Update production boards, attendance, training matrices, and daily reports.
• Verify production counts, repair logs, labeling, and required documentation.
• Support new model launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote and enforce safety, quality, 5S, and company policies.
• Report daily production activities and performance to management.
• Assist with training, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
• Order production-related materials and perform other duties as assigned.
