Job summary

Tate Americas is seeking a Team Leader to direct the production department, ensuring safe, on-time manufacturing of quality products. You will grow and develop team members while upholding cost targets and efficiency targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee daily shipping/logistics tasks, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate across shifts to meet production demands. This is a hands-on supervisory role with opportunities for career progression within Tate Americas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8–10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience or education required.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the safety of department employees with enforcement of safety policies and PPE usage.
• Check shipping lists daily and ensure packing and labeling are accurate; assign staff to staging and shipping tasks.
• Complete manifest and loading diagrams; ensure weight requirements and loading procedures are followed.
• Process SA transactions to create customer invoices and handle export/import documentation.
• Prepare Canada documents and maintain inventory accuracy; support team coverage during breaks/absences.
• Collaborate within a team to cover production needs and maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
