Job summary

Tate Americas is seeking a Team Lead I to oversee daily production operations, coordinate workflows, supervise team members, and resolve issues on the factory floor to meet output, quality, and safety targets.

You will coach staff, monitor metrics, support setups and changeovers, and ensure adherence to procedures and compliance policies while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• 1-2 years of experience leading teams in production or operational environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, equipment operation, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience operating and supporting production equipment within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Ability to monitor production metrics including output, efficiency, and downtime performance.
• Experience working with production tracking systems, work orders, or ERP platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, procedures, and manufacturing compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own daily production output ensuring targets, schedules, and quality standards are achieved.
• Coordinate production line activities maintaining workflow continuity and minimizing operational downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and elevate issues impacting efficiency and production output.
• Support machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments ensuring consistent production operations.
• Track production metrics and report performance against established operational goals.
• Lead production team members ensuring consistent execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, training, and hands-on support to improve team performance.
• Monitor adherence to procedures ensuring compliance with production and operational standards.
• Communicate priorities, updates, and performance expectations to production team members.
