Job summary

Tate Americas, a key business within Kingspan Data Solutions, seeks a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Glasgow, KY. You will lead production teams to ensure safe, on-time manufacture of quality products and foster employee growth across departments.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety, assigning staff across shifts, reviewing daily performance, coordinating training, updating production plans, and partnering with engineering and leadership to resolve issues while ensuring

Qualifications

• Associates degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing; or 5 years successful supervisor experience in a directly related, multi-shift manufacturing operation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, assign personnel across multiple shifts and monitor for timely and cost-effective completion.
• Strong understanding of production processes and equipment to be able to adequately direct production personnel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks through others.
• Must be proficient with ERP systems and other computer applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees and enforce safety as a core value.
• Assign personnel across shifts to meet production objectives across all areas of responsibility.
• Communicate daily performance and ensure root-cause is known for any special-cause circumstances.
• Coordinate and track associate training and competency to promote cross-training and associate self-sufficiency.
• Run daily pre-shift meetings and update daily production plan as needed.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant leadership to implement actions to correct ongoing production issues that impact product quality, personnel safety, and ability to meet the daily production schedule.
• Work with internal professionals in the development and improvement of programs for departmental safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure all employees follow policies, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.
• Maintain awareness of contribution to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies; report issues to proper personnel.
