Job summary

About The Role

Team Lead I leads daily production operations to ensure efficient output, quality, and safe execution within manufacturing environments. The role is responsible for coordinating production workflows, supervising team members, and supporting real-time problem resolution on the production floor. Success in this role results in consistent production performance, reduced downtime, and improved team efficiency aligned with operational targets

What You’ll Do

• Production Operations & Output Management
• Own daily production output ensuring targets, schedules, and quality standards are achieved.
• Coordinate production line activities maintaining workflow continuity and minimizing operational downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and elevate issues impacting efficiency and production output.
• Support machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments ensuring consistent production operations.
• Track production metrics and report performance against established operational goals. Team Leadership & Workforce Coordination
• Lead production team members ensuring consistent execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Assign daily work and adjust staffing levels based on production demand requirements.
• Provide coaching, training, and hands‑on support to improve team performance.
• Monitor adherence to procedures ensuring compliance with production and operational standards.
• Communicate priorities, updates, and performance expectations to production team members.

Additional Expectations

• Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
• Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
• Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
• Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments required.
• 1-2 years of experience leading teams in production or operational environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, equipment operation, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience operating and supporting production equipment within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Ability to monitor production metrics including output, efficiency, and downtime performance.
• Experience working with production tracking systems, work orders, or ERP platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, procedures, and manufacturing compliance requirements.
• Ability to identify operational issues and make real-time decisions on production floor.
• Strong problem-solving skills supporting root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
• Effective communication skills across production teams and manufacturing leadership.
