Job summary

Tate's Bake Shop is seeking a 3rd Shift Associate Manager Production in East Moriches, NY. The role supports the Production Manager, leads a production team, and drives continuous improvement to meet goals while maintaining safety and quality.

You will monitor processes, train staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production flow and inventory management. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 1+ year of management experience in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Ability to work third shift and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day production activities and schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality, and efficiency throughout production.
• Supervise and train staff; provide guidance to improve performance.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with supply chain for timely materials procurement.
• Prepare production reports and share insights with management.
• Support compliance with FDA, SQF, and food safety standards.
