The role emphasizes scheduling, quality control, training, and coordination with Materials and Customer Service to meet production goals while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Background in manufacturing technology and line operating experience.
• Practical work experience in supervision, quality and product reliability.
• Interpersonal skills to foster cooperation and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage hourly third shift Production employees and direct overall production activities.
• Coordinate manufacturing schedule and production activities to meet budgeted productivity, shipping and fill rate goals.
• Ensure product quality levels through proper operator training and inspection techniques.
• Balance and expedite work through production areas; adjust schedules and personnel as needed.
• Recommend improvements related to quality, efficiency, machine utilization, and budget status.
• Communicate with Materials Manager and Customer Service to set priorities for specific orders.
• Review production and operational reports to evaluate conformity with standards and resource use.
• Maintain attendance records and coordinate with other departments on issues affecting production.
