Adler Pelzer Group in Oregon, OH is hiring an Assistant Production Supervisor for the 11pm-7am shift. You will assist the Supervisor in leading manufacturing operations, coordinating personnel, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• In-company experience as an above-average production operator, line mechanic, or equivalent manufacturing employee preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift certification or license required, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate work instructions, engineering changes, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in managing daily manufacturing operations and coordinating personnel, work assignments, and production activities.
• Provide direction to production employees to support schedules, throughput targets, and departmental objectives.
• Monitor hourly production performance and work cells to ensure quality and production goals are met.
• Maintain production records, inventory levels, and process documentation.
• Identify delays and assist in corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
