• Schedules all work for the shift, ensuring efficient operations; prioritizes work to meet SLAs
• Develops and controls production schedules based on customer requirements
• Analyzes daily scheduling reports to determine production workflow and predict daily production levels
• Schedules work to optimize changeover, labor and production equipment usage
• Provides data and analysis to assist shift supervisor in resource planning
• Notifies shift supervisor of issues impacting production workflow
• Reports daily production needs and completions
• Provides direction and retraining to insure efficient operations
• Interacts with production management to resolve issues regarding efficiencies, data requests, and customer issues
• Monitors work to maximize machine and employee efficiency

Job description

Job Title: Production Coordinator

Responsible for ensuring production is accurately and timely scheduled to maximize production efficiency. Provides oversight of quality, ensuring that high quality standards are applied at all times. Monitors systems to identify bottlenecks and ensure continuous operation.

Essential Functions

• Schedules all work for the shift, ensuring efficient operations; prioritizes work to meet SLAs


• Develops and controls production schedules based on customer requirements


• Analyzes daily scheduling reports to determine specific production work flow and predict daily production levels


• Schedules work to optimize changeover, labor and production equipment usage


• Provides data and analysist to assist shift supervisor in resource planning


• Immediately notifies shift supervisor of issues impacting production workflow


• Reports daily production needs and completions


• Participates in providing direction and retraining where needed to insure efficient operations


• Interacts with production management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies, requests for data/information, and customer issues


• Monitors work, making changes as needed, in order to maximize machine and employee efficiency
