Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in plastics technology preferred; or a minimum of three years’ experience in processing thermoplastics.
• Solid understanding of SPC concepts and practice.
• Excellent interpersonal/team skills with strong written and verbal skills.
• Previous training experience.
• Experience solving problems and driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for manufacturing in molding and secondary processes.
• Start-up and shut-down of plastic injection molding machines and subsystems.
• Debugs process problems to improve part quality and yields.
• Document changes and maintain standard processes.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and train associates on equipment.
