Job summary

Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting in Duncan, South Carolina, is seeking a Material Delivery Technician for 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). You will oversee material delivery systems, packaging, and inventory accuracy while supporting production and maintenance teams.

The role requires basic math, High School diploma, mechanical aptitude, forklift certification, and a solid focus on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; basic math and reading skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to set up equipment.
• Knowledge of materials and ability to obtain forklift license.
• Ability to lift up to 35–40 lbs and maintain manual dexterity.
• Good communication and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of computers and production paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material delivery system and provide packaging to designated locations.
• Inspect materials; calculate dry time and material usage per production run.
• Maintain accurate material reporting log and inventory accuracy (Drying Hopper, Silo, boxed material).
• Operate scanners to log finished goods and move materials with totes.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA guidance; assist maintenance and engineering on installations.
