Job summary

Scientific Protein Laboratories (SPL) in Waunakee, WI near Madison, is seeking a Process Operator for the 3rd shift (4pm–4am). You will follow Manufacturing Instructions and cGMP practices to produce SPL specialty products, operate and clean equipment, and maintain rigorous documentation and safety standards.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, basic math, and ability to lift up to 90 pounds, with PPE.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to learn GMP, SOPs, GDPs and maintain clean, safe work practices.
• Ability to wear and work in PPE and handle chemicals safely.
• Eagerness to learn and develop manufacturing skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures for production of SPL specialty products per MI’s, GMPs, GDPs and SOPs.
• Performs manufacturing activities including equipment prep, cleaning, sanitizing and aseptic tasks as required.
• Maintains safe, clean, and sanitary work environment; performs housekeeping and equipment teardown.
• Operates under supervision to ensure accurate documentation and timing.
• Handles acids, caustics, solvents per training and safety guidelines.
