Job summary

Scientific Protein Laboratories (SPL) in Waunakee, Wisconsin, just outside Madison, is hiring a Process Operator for 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm). Under supervision, you will learn and apply cGMPs, SOPs, and safety practices to manufacture specialty products, maintaining batch records and equipment logs.

You will operate equipment, monitor processes, and report any out-of-spec conditions to management. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (two+ years preferred), ability to lift up to

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a manufacturing process per MI and cGMPs.
• Maintain batch records, cleaning logs and equipment labels.
• Perform housekeeping to keep areas neat and sanitary.
• Assist with rolling heavy drums, washing and sanitizing equipment, forklifts, and lifting bags.
• Capture records and report out-of-spec conditions to superiors.

For over 40 years, SPL specializes in the development and cGMP compliant manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). SPL has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Process Operator.Under direct supervision, a Process Operator performs all activities necessary to manufacture SPL specialty products according to Manufacturing Instructions (MI’s) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).**Schedule: **2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pmResponsibilities include:Under direct supervision, learns, understands and applies cGMP's, Standard Operating Procedures, safety practices and other pertinent material through films, reading and on the job training to produce high quality products safely.Maintains written records of batch records, cleaning logs, equipment labels and any other pertinent records and the work is performed. Utilizes good housekeeping practices to ensure work areas are neat and sanitary.Adheres to established work schedules in a consistently reliable manner, and performs job responsibilities and delivers work products on a dependable and timely basis.Under direct supervision performs activities necessary to manufacture product. These activities may include but are not limited to rolling heavy drums, washing and sanitizing equipment and work areas, operating forklifts and lifting bags. Operate equipment or starts, runs, monitors and shuts down a process.
