Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC in Chicopee, MA on third shift seeks a Press Room Set Up & Operate operator. You will inspect parts, load tooling, set feeds, and run presses with safety and quality as priorities.

Responsibilities include diagnosing tool issues, performing first piece inspections, maintaining logbooks, and supporting preventative maintenance. Must read simple instructions and work well in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• 2–5 years' experience running multiple machines, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short memos, and basic documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection on parts when lots are completed and record results.
• Set up and adjust feeds, dies, and tooling for timing chain components.
• Operate presses and maintain close tolerances per drawings and work instructions.
• Diagnose tool and equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and document observations.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and tool life tracking.
