Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive in Ohio is seeking a reliable Press Operator to set up and run a variety of presses, producing parts that meet ISO specifications and blueprints.

You will read production prints, select materials, and perform operations including cut-off, blanking, piercing, bending, and straightening while following safety guidelines. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, maintaining quality, and collaborating with team members.

Qualifications

• Proficient use of calipers and measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Experience with press and press setups is preferred.
• Safety-sensitive position with focus on safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a variety of presses
• Produces parts to meet quality, ISO specifications, blue print and customer requirements.
• Selects correct material size and analysis.
• Performs operations such as: cut-off, blanking, piercing, shaving, bending, off-setting and straightening.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Uses good judgment and works in a safe responsible manner
• Ability to work well with others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Proficient knowledge and use of calipers and other measuring devices
• Ability to accurately read and interpret production prints
• Work with press and press setups desired
• Safety Sensitive Position
