Job summary

dsm-firmenich is hiring a Production Packer for the 3rd shift in Princeton, NJ. You will weigh, fill, and label liquid chemicals with strict adherence to recipes and safety protocols. You will use SAP and MES systems to manage inventory and packing data, ensuring accurate documentation and quality control.

The role requires standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and knowledge of GMP/HACCP. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred.
• At least 1 year in chemical manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP practices.
• Ability to tolerate strong odors and allergens.
• Able to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work on a 3rd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemicals into containers per instructions and recipes.
• Follow packing procedures; scan to validate materials and weigh using weight-assisted equipment.
• Use SAP/MES to input quantities, confirm pack-out and scrap loss, and reconcile delivery quantities.
• Label containers accurately; print/reprint labels and apply tamper-evident seals when needed.
• Crimp containers and ensure proper closure and containment; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
