Job summary

Impact Business Group is seeking an experienced Plastics Maintenance Technician to support 3rd shift injection molding operations. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining injection molding machines and their auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime and keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, robots, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance calls.
• Diagnose equipment issues and repair or replace components as needed.
• Maintain dryers, loaders, hot runners, cooling systems and temperature control units.
• Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing machinery.
• Document repairs, inspections, maintenance activities, and parts usage.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machine reliability and uptime.
