Job summary

Impact Business Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for the 3rd shift to support manufacturing processes and troubleshoot equipment. The role focuses on maintaining, calibrating, and repairing controls, instruments, and gauges across multiple systems.

You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and implement improvements while collaborating with facilities, operations, and vendors to ensure equipment readiness and smooth production flows.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical prints and schematics.
• Proactive in identifying process improvements and standardization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calibration, testing, setup, and repair of controls, instruments, and gauges in manufacturing.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments as needed.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment issues and take corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization across lines.
• Collaborate with facilities, operations, maintenance, and vendors for equipment installation and readiness.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems, welding processes, and robotics.
• Track production equipment data and report inconsistencies.
• Read and interpret electrical prints for effective problem resolution.
