Teknor Apex is hiring a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Vermont. You will participate in blending and machine operation of plastic compounds used in medical and consumer products, on second and third shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Verification of manufacturing numbers including item numbers, lot numbers and quantities.
• Legibly document production information on required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Work well alone and with others.
• Monitor personal safety along with the safety of other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending and extrusion machinery to produce plastic compounds.
• Assist in on-line quality checks and documentation of production data.
• Follow shift procedures and safety protocols on 2nd/3rd shifts.
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
