Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Painter for the 3rd shift in Kewaunee, WI. You will prepare, apply, and verify coating and surface preparation per manufacturer specifications, keep substrates clean, and maintain consistent finish quality.

Qualifications include basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and write, and the capacity to work independently with moderate supervision. You must pass a respirator physical exam and be able to enter confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently prepare, apply, and verify coatings and surface preparation as per manufacturer specs.
• Ensure substrates are clean and free of contaminants like dirt or oil.
• Mix and apply coatings according to manufacturer specifications; monitor cure times and thickness.
• Perform daily/weekly cleaning and preventive maintenance on painting equipment and maintain safety standards.
