Job summary

Kissner Milling Company in Delaware is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Operator to manage and maintain packaging lines, including scales, baggers, and heat sealers. You will ensure efficiency through cleaning and preventive maintenance, perform visual inspections, and verify weights and seals.

This role requires training as both hopper and sealer, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, overtime availability, and strict adherence to QEHS policies such as HACCP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Overtime availability.
• PPE required (hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, hi-visibility).
• English communication skills (oral and written).
• Experience with packaging and mobile equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-inspections of the work area before starting production.
• Operate packaging lines and related equipment to meet production demands.
• Conduct weight checks every 30 minutes and record data.
• Label finished product pallets into inventory.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist technicians and supervisors as needed.
• Follow QEHS policies including HACCP compliance.
