Job summary

Oberto Snacks, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator 3 for the 3rd shift in Kent, WA. The role requires operating and maintaining packaging lines, ensuring product quality, and directing line personnel to meet production targets.

Onsite position with shift differential for 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, basic HACCP/GMP knowledge, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Lock-Out Tag-Out Certified (OJT)
• 6 months’ manufacturing experience preferred.
• Pallet jack experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HACCP (OJT)
• SQF preferred.
• Other Food Safety, Quality, Technical, and Regulatory Training as needs determine appropriate.
• Understanding and compliance with all GMPs (OJT).
• Understanding and compliance with all personal safety rules (OJT).

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot packaging machines to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Ensure proper setup, labeling, and material checks per product specifications.
• Direct and train team members to maintain productivity and safety standards.
• Perform hourly quality inspections and adjust equipment for optimal performance.
• Maintain sanitation and follow GMP and food safety procedures.
