Job summary

Perry's Ice Cream is seeking a packaging-focused team member for the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am, Sun–Thu). You will help ensure safe, high-quality products by monitoring the flow of finished goods through packaging equipment, and by maintaining sanitary conditions across the packaging center.

The role requires basic mechanical and math skills, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Training in SQF & GMP will be provided as part of development.

Qualifications

• Must have basic Mechanical skills.
• Must possess basic Math skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain packaging center sanitation per Company policies.
• Willing to learn SQF & GMP requirements.
• Must be able to work Sundays through Thursdays on a 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the proper flow of finished product entering & exiting the packaging equipment, including case packing and shrink wrappers.
• Maintain the packaging center sanitation in accordance with Company guidelines and state/federal regulations.
