Job summary

Perry’s Ice Cream is seeking a dedicated team member for the 2nd shift to support warehousing and production services. You will handle raw material storage, packaging receipt, and BOM verification while upholding SQF standards for safety and quality.

Training will be provided to operate yard tractors and forklifts as needed. This role emphasizes problem solving, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to Perry’s values.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work a variable schedule.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to train on yard tractor and forklift.
• Solid mathematical and logical reasoning.
• Good housekeeping practices in production areas.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support manufacturing needs and SQF compliance.
• Willing to obtain forklift license
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, CIMPRO)

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for proper warehousing of raw materials.
• Support recycling and disposal of corrugated waste from production.
• Receive packaging and ingredients and set up production materials.
• Review BOMs to ensure accuracy for manufacturing floor.
• Adhere to QCDSM process and SQF guidelines for safe, high-quality production.
