Job summary

Perry’s Ice Cream is seeking a packaging team member for the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am, Sun–Thu) in New York. You will help oversee the finish-good flow through packaging, learn operation of shrink wrappers, case packers, and other equipment, and maintain sanitary standards.

Qualified applicants should have basic mechanical and math skills, be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow written and verbal instructions while communicating effectively across teams.

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate with all levels of co-workers.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and maintain sanitary packaging area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the proper flow of finished product entering and exiting the packaging equipment, including case packing and shrink wrapping.
• Maintain packaging center sanitation per company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Support a fast-paced production environment and multi-task as needed.
• Adhere to SQF & GMP requirements and participate in continuous improvement.
