Perry's Ice Cream is seeking a packaging-focused team member for the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am, Sun–Thu). You will help ensure safe, high-quality products by monitoring the flow of finished goods through packaging equipment, and by maintaining sanitary conditions across the packaging center.

The role requires basic mechanical and math skills, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Training in SQF & GMP will be provided as part of development.

Qualifications

• Must have basic Mechanical skills.
• Must possess basic Math skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain packaging center sanitation per Company policies.
• Willing to learn SQF & GMP requirements.
• Must be able to work Sundays through Thursdays on a 3rd shift.

Overview

Shift

3rd Shift / 11pm to 7:30am / Sunday to Thursday - Additional days or overtime as required to complete the daily demands

About the Role:

As a core member of our production team, you will be expected to:

• Oversee the proper flow of finished product entering & existing the packaging equipment to include case packing, shrink wrappers, and other peripheral packaging processes
• Be responsible for maintaining the packaging center Sanitation in accordance with all Company guidelines and state/federal regulations

• Support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
• Must have basic Mechanical skills.
• Must be willing to learn & become well versed in the operation of shrink wrappers, case packers & other peripheral support packaging equipment
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
• Must possess basic Math Skills.
• Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and then effectively communicate with all levels of co-workers.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to be proficient at recordkeeping and doing so in a timely manner
• Must possess the ability to clean/maintain the packaging center in a sanitary manner as per Company policies/programs
• Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific SQF & GMP requirements.

Pay:

Base Pay Rate: $19.82 / hour - $22.05 / hour

Shift Differential: $0.50
