Job summary
RTX is seeking a hands-on Operations leader to oversee 2nd and 3rd shift production at the San Marcos facility. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while guiding hourly teams through coaching and development.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve production challenges, and implement Lean initiatives to improve efficiency on overnight operations.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience driving safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise 3rd shift production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
- Provide daily leadership, coaching, and development for hourly employees and team leads.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
- Monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to meet operational goals.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.
