Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Engineer to maintain and optimize building systems, including DDC/BMS, HVAC and facility infrastructure. You will work hands-on and document tasks in a CMMS, coordinating with senior engineers while ensuring client satisfaction in a professional environment.

The role requires OSHA 10, experience with BMS and CMMS, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and strong communication skills. On-site work in Greenwich/NYC area with a night shift may apply.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience with Direct Digital Control Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proficiency using CMMS for work order management and documentation.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills for diagnosing facility issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot DDC/BMS to maintain building performance.
• Process work orders through CMMS with accurate documentation and timely closure.
• Diagnostics and repairs for HVAC, waste, and kitchen equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics as needed.
• Maintain professional on-site client interactions and technical competence.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to execute maintenance strategies and projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations.
